I am planning a baby shower at the moment and it is such good fun. My sister has just had a baby after a long time of trying and she is such a little special bundle. It feels like we really need to make it a lovely party as it is likely to be her only baby and so we will not get the chance again. I am therefore making a massive effort and buying baby shower decorations and everything.
I have asked her who she would like me to invite and everyone is coming which is excellent. I have decided to keep everything to a baby theme and so I have a lovely selection of baby shower cakes to serve along with sandwiches which I am going to cut into shapes with a cake cutter that I bought that is in a baby shape which I think is adorable! I have just got to think of a gift for the baby and then I will be all done apart from picking up my baby shower favors when I am next in town. I am so looking forward to it – it will be so nice seeing my sister and her family being the centre of attention after all of their problems.
